For the Junior Golfer

The Full Swing – 2 hours:
This program includes full instruction for two family members including video analysis, a round of golf at the Deer Creek Academy’s Salem Ridge and a free fitting session. The maximum is two students 2 hours of instruction. 2:1 student to teacher ratio. In this program we will cover the basics about the golf swing:  grip, stance, ball position and posture.

The Short Game – 2 hours:
This program includes short game instruction for two family members. This package will also include a round of golf at Salem Ridge following the lesson.  2 hours of instruction and a free putter fitting session. In this session you will receive a 2:1 student to teacher ratio.

The Total Game – 4 hours:
This program includes both full swing and short game instruction from Durham’s top teaching professionals. We will provide instruction for two family members including video analysis plus a round of golf at The Deer Creek Academy’s Salem Ridge. In this session you will receive a 2:1 student to teacher ratio and four hours of instruction.

The Deer Creek Golf Academy has developed a fun and educational way of teaching juniors the skills they will require in order to become good golfers. The golf swing with woods, irons, pitching, chipping, putting, and even bunker shots will be a part in this program.

If you truly want to see your junior develop into a fine player, our five-day Junior Development School is among the best in Canada. This school offers us the opportunity to look at each part of the game, including rules and etiquette, on-course instruction and video analysis. Our methods of teaching have proven to be very beneficial for juniors to better understand the game. Let us assist in developing your junior's existing skills.  Ages  6-17. Monday  through Friday 30 total hours.

We offer a lunch program for $40.00 (including taxes) for the entire week including 2 snacks, drinks (including water) and a prepared hot lunch.

Discounts available for siblings, as well as children returning for multiple weeks. 1/2 Day Camps end at 12pm.

Start your Junior Golfer off on the right path to a lifetime filled with enjoyment from the game of golf.  The Deer Creek Academy is excited to welcome your Junior Golfer to our award winning facility, where they will develop a love, appreciation, and respect for the game of golf.  Your Junior Golfer will also learn from our very skilled and highly qualified CPGA Instructors about the rules of golf, as well as golf etiquette.   Our programs are suitable for children as young as 4.   This is the best place to start your Junior on the path to Golf Greatness.

Junior Private Instruction – offered by a seasoned CPGA Professional or CPGA Certified Instructor:

JR Student = $40 per half hour
JR Student = $75 per hour
JR Student = $349.00 includes 5 one-hour lessons

5 Week Junior Clinic

This 5 week junior clinic is for a young junior golfer looking to take their game to the next level and are suited for children aged 7-16 years old.  This clinic is designed to take your average junior player and transform them into a great player. Perfect for juniors looking to get involved in competitive golf tournaments. It includes a 10:1 student to teacher ratio, CPGA Professional Instruction and a full swing and short game instruction.

5 Week Pee Wee Clinic

This is the best starting point for a young golfer.  Starting as young as 4, these clinics are suited for children up to age of 8.  It is an excellent atmosphere to learn the basics of the swing, stance and grip.  Held weekly, on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9am-10am, this 5 week clinic is a fun way to introduce golf to your youngster.
